Logging in

Your username is your personal email address. After activating your account you will receive an email with your password. The first time you login you will be prompted to change this password and create a security question (which will be used if you forget your password).

If you forget your password click the link on the login page
"Click here if you have forgotten your password."

You will need to enter your email address and answer your security question (click hint to see the security question you entered). You will then be sent an email with a new password.

If you have forgotten both your password and security question, please email enrol@lsbu.ac.uk and we will reset it for you.

Using the Online System

There are several ‘Tasks’ to work through to complete the Online stage of your enrolment. Some of these must be done in order, for example ‘Additional Information’ will only become available once ‘Confirm your place’ has been completed.

You must complete Confirm your place, Additional Information, Your Fees, Get Your Arrival Instructions, Uploading your Photo and Activating your Computer Account so that you can start to engage with the Universities online systems.

Confirming your Place

Your Course: If the course shown is not the one you have received an unconditional offer for, please contact our Admissions team: lsbuadmissions@lsbu.ac.uk

Disability: You might notice that some disabilities are listed twice in the dropdown list. Please choose the first item in the list which best reflects yourself.

Last College: We need to know the last school, college, university (or other educational institution) that you attended. It does not matter if there are also other schools or colleges listed which you have attended (we may have received this information in your application), but please make sure that we can identify your last institution using the dates that you attended.

You must read and tick the boxes for the Enrollment Declaration, Tuition Fees Regulations and Data Protection before moving on.

Additional Information

Highest Qualification on Entry: Enter the name of the Highest Qualification which you have so far successfully gained and where you got the qualification into the text boxes. Please note this is a qualification you have already passed, not the qualification you are now starting at London South Bank.

Then select the entry from the list which best matches your Highest Qualification (or is equivalent to it).

If your highest qualification is from an Overseas University or other institution please choose as follows:

• You have a Masters which is the equivalent of a UK Masters choose ‘Masters from Overseas, equivalent to UK Masters’
• You have a First (undergraduate) Degree which is the equivalent of a UK First Degree with Honours, choose ‘Degree from Overseas, equivalent to UK First Degree with Hons’
• You have a Degree or Diploma which is the equivalent of a UK Diploma of Higher Education, choose ‘Diploma/Degree from Overseas, equivalent to UK Dip HE’.
• Any other Overseas qualification, choose the equivalent UK qualification.

Your Fees

For the majority of users, this task is made up of two parts.

1. Some questions to help us gather information needed to help us carry out your student status assessment*
2. A fees quote
3. Information on how you are funding your course (either confirmation of your application for a student loan or a link to our online payment system to enable you to make a payment).

Applicants who we believe may be funded by contract between the NHS London Strategic Health Authority and the University or applicants for apprentice courses will not be given a fee quote.

*The University carries out assessment on all students at enrolment to determine whether you are a Home, EU or Overseas student. The reason we do this is to determine the level of fees payable (if appropriate) and for our regulatory returns. In this task you will be asked to provide some information to help us prepare for this assessment. In addition, you will be asked to upload copies of your passport and one other form of identification. For some students, depending on your circumstances, you may need to upload more documents such as BRP, birth certificate, marriage certificate etc.

Get Your Arrival Instructions

Once you complete this section, you will receive information on what to do next

Upload your Photo

Click ‘Browse’, to locate your photo on your PC. Please use a JPEG file, minimum size 1024x768 and maximum 1600x1200, do not use a .BMP. Use a recent photo with a light background. The photo should be a head shot showing you alone and facing the camera. Your face must be uncovered and free of shadow and your eyes open and clearly visible (without dark or tinted glasses). You can crop and rotate your photo as necessary, it should look SIMILAR TO A PASSPORT PHOTO when you have finished. Click Upload to save the photo once you are finished. This will be used for your LSBU Id Card.

Activate your Computer Account

Use this link to activate your personal LSBU email/computer/VLE account. You will need your seven digit LSBU ID (which you will find on your arrival email) in order to do this. Answer the questions as prompted and click the ‘I have finished’ button when you reach the end.

This will not affect the password you have created for this Online System and you should continue to use you own personal email to log in to this system rather than your LSBU email.
